What we do

Rooted brings together classes, workshops, financial support, and inclusive events so no family has to choose

Classes

Our classes blend creative movement, music, and social-emotional learning in an age-appropriate space that nurtures the whole child. Open to children of all abilities, with our weekly schedule to be announced soon.

Workshops

Each month, Rooted hosts workshops on parenting, marriage, and mental health, led by our licensed clinical social worker, along with sessions for families enrolled in our classes.

Alternative and sensory-inclusive events

We host sensory-friendly alternatives to traditional holiday events, so children who find crowds, noise, or bright lights overwhelming can still take part in the moments that matter most.

Family Support Fund

Rooted feels a collective responsibility to take care of one another. Through the fund, we meet families right where they are, offering financial assistance so cost is never the reason a family goes without support. Learn more

Sensory Activation Vehicle

Rooted meets people right where they are, including at the events already filling their calendars. The SAV, created with the Tuscaloosa Police Department, brings a calming, inclusive space directly to community events. Learn more
