Rooted Dance is more than just a class. It's a space where movement, creativity, and connection come together. Designed by a team of therapists, psychologists, dance instructors, and educators, our signature program nurtures the whole child through joyful movement, artistic expression, and social-emotional learning. Every child here feels seen, supported, and inspired to grow.

Our Rooted Dance classes meet Saturdays at the Downtown Tuscaloosa YMCA. Designed as a hybrid model, our program brings together children of all abilities — neurodiverse and neurotypical — in a supportive space where they can learn, grow, and inspire one another. Our last class of the semester will be May 16 with information on the fall coming soon!
Two age groups:
🩰 Ages 4-7 | 9:30-10:15 AM
🩰 Ages 8+ | 10:30-11:15 AM
